Worlds and World

You may have figured this out already, but in case you haven’t, I did not move to the UK. However, I am maintaining dual residency in two virtual worlds.

In my “old world” I have closed my “Authorized Reseller” store, sold the group land, and will soon shut down my yard sale slash originals store. Shortly after that, I plan to down grade from premium to just a plain old freebie account. I will miss my stipend, but a premium account is a waste of money for me. I have not been very active in that world for a long time. Not just because of the changes that I hear so many talk about, but because I am rather busy in the place I like to call RL. I do not plan to leave the old world for good; I have some friends and RP that I am not ready to give up. That’s right, my avi plays the role of another – a game within a game. Try it sometime. You might like it.

In my “new world’ I have land that is filled with wonderful things that I did not build. I’d like to say that I did, but I’m lazy and there are excellent creators who were kind enough to sell their stuff to me via the buy option. Therefore, I did not build most of what is there. I did purchase and place it though and that counts. I have others working on furnishings and I’ve got a mall that is mostly empty – for now. Misty has land, and I have a plot there with what will someday (hopefully) be a shop. For now, though, it’s just a nice place to explore. Lilly even hangs out there… well, her ghost does. So, I have a sim and plot and still no time. However, I do not plan to leave that world either. I have some wonderful friends there who haven’t quite learned how odd I really am yet. Not to mention, there is some serious clothes, skin, boot and hair shopping that still needs to be done in the new world.

In the place called RL, I am still too busy. Even though it takes up much of time, I’m not ready to give it up either. So, I guess, really, I hold triple-residency. Right?
